Iraq – The second session of the Iraq International Book Fair kicks off
Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi inaugurated the second session of the Iraq International Book Fair in Baghdad, which kicked off with wide Arab and international participation. Publishing and printing houses were distinguished by their publications and extended experiences in the scientific, literary and cultural fields. Meanwhile, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon were all well-represented along with agents of Saudi, Emirati, and Kuwaiti publishing and printing houses. Iraqi and Arab authors, critics, and novelists also took part in the fair, however, the Maghreb countries were absent from his cultural event.
