Yemen- The Fourth Feminist Summit in Aden Kicks Off
Under the motto of “our strength our struggle our efforts”, Wogood for human security launched the fourth feminist Summit in Aden in cooperation with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) foundation. The event brings together representatives and senior figures from various governmental blocs, civil society organizations, coalitions, initiatives, feminist organizations, along with high-profile political and social figures that belong to different affiliations. Furthermore, the summit aims at promoting and boosting the feminist movement’s role in terms of collaborative work. Moreover, it is concerned with upholding women’s views and visions with respect to the peace process and treaties, especially in the transitional phase. The goal also entails strengthening the advocacy for the feminist movement by reviewing women’s chances in influencing the peace process strategically and systematically
