Tunisia- President Kais Saied Accepts Demands To set A deadline for the Exceptional Measures

Numerous politicians and activists demanded President Kais Saied to set a deadline for the exceptional situation that has been imposed for the last 4 months. According to Riad Al-Badri, a political analyst, the president’s plan is to launch a national dialogue and to review the electoral law in terms of laws concerning parties and unions along with the Law on Freedom of Audiovisual Communication. Moreover, it entailed forming committees to alter the political system from an amended parliamentary system to a presidential system. The president declared during a meeting with the head of the central bank that he will sign a roadmap that the wrap up the current exceptional measures.
