Syria – IDPs of Al-Hasakah countryside demand to return to their homes

279

The people of Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad and their countryside have taken the schools of al-Hasakah as a shelter for them and their children after they were displaced from their homes due to the attacks of the armed Syrian opposition factions on the two cities. The displaced in schools suffer from great difficulty in securing the basic requirements of living, especially clothing and food, while two organizations are providing them with food aid and hygiene, still, the majority of organizations operating in the region do not pay any attention to them. According to the representatives of the Committee for the Displaced, they called on international bodies and organizations interested in rights, as well as countries that have ties to the Syrian issue, to achieve the demands of these displaced persons and arrange their return to their homes.
