Palestine – UNRWA to start repairing 1,200 damaged houses in Gaza

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed today, Tuesday, the start of the process of repairing hundreds of houses that were damaged during the recent war on Gaza. UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philip Lazzarini, during a conference he held in front of one of the damaged houses in the Beach camp for Palestinian refugees, west of Gaza City, pointed out that the priority is to repair 1,200 damaged houses for Palestinian refugee families who were unable to return to their homes due to the destruction inflicted on them since there are also 7,000 families, they will be dealt with and aid supplied if full support is provided.
