Tunisia – Tunisians applaud the appointment of a woman as first prime minister

Tunisians applauded President Kais Saied’s announcement, on Wednesday, that Najla Bouden Ramadan was appointed as prime minister, to be the first woman in the history of Tunisia to hold this position, as well as the first Arab woman to hold this role. According to citizens, who see her appointment as a good move, Ms. Najla is awaiting several issues, the most prominent of which are on the economic and living levels.
