Tunisia – Suspension of 2014 constitution brings in a new political phase

Following the last speech of Tunisian President Kais Saied, in which he talked about the activation of transitional provisions and exceptional measures, analysts in the Tunisian political matter believe that the complete suspension of the 2014 constitution is good, especially since the country is entering a political phase in which a new system will be implemented. The political analyst, Basil Turjuman, considered that changing the constitution is not a heresy brought by Kais Saied, but rather a demand of many political and popular forces that wanted change in the past period.
