The Prime Minister’s Advisor for Elections, Hussein Al-Hindawi, stated that the Iraqi government is the only party to decide that the upcoming parliamentary elections be different from the previous ones. Meanwhile, the Director of the Strategic Center for Human Rights, Hazem Al-Derini, pointed out that the use of the electronic voting cards and separation of elections for abroad and the internally displaced people prove the upcoming elections’ sobriety and transparency.
