Palestine – Farah returns to school in Gaza after being injured and having her leg amputated

32

Farah, the little girl, returned to school, following an injury she suffered during the recent war on Gaza, which resulted in the amputation of her leg. She was on a long treatment journey in a hospital in Jordan, where she received the necessary treatment and had a prosthetic leg installed so she could return to her normal life and study like other children. Farah’s mother, Umm Saad Esleem, says that there are many cases in Gaza like Farah’s case, they need treatment and care. Esleem is looking forward to the Arab countries taking the initiative to provide treatment to the wounded children in Gaza, as Jordan did with her injured daughter Farah.
