In the recent brutal war on Gaza, Mohammad Hani Shaaban, an 8-year-old child in Beit Lahia, lives in agony after he lost his sight in an airstrike. His vision loss altered his life in all its aspects as daily tasks became onerous, and he couldn’t resume his education. This was coupled with poor living conditions as his family lives in a shabby house. Despite all the hurdles, he wishes he could regain his life back in order to see his parents and brothers. It is worth mentioning that he received the initial treatment outside Gaza
