Grassroots protests broke out after President Michel Aoun refused the cabinet lineup proposed by Lebanon’s Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri, who then decided to give up forming a new government. Incensed Protestors took to the streets of Tripoli, Lebanon, and different parts of Lebanon after no government was assembled especially that the Lebanese currency’s value plummeted to 22,000 against the dollar
