Iraq – The Mine Museum tells the story of 7,000 victims in Kurdistan

The Mine Museum in Sulaymaniyah is considered the first in Iraq, established in 2014 by anti-mines local and international organizations, it displays the types of mines that claimed the lives of seven thousand citizens, including 1050 people who became disabled, during the 30 years in Sulaymaniyah which were planted during the Iran-Iraq war, whereas the numbers of casualties are continuing amid the presence of large areas in the region that have not been cleared of mines.
