Iraq- Amid Soaring Temperatures and Power Outage, Iraqi Nation is Enduring Gloomy Days

After two days of a power outage and amid soaring temperatures that reached 45 degrees Celsius, the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity declared electricity return in Iraq. A report issued by the ministry stated that two power lines were targeted and 5 towers were sabotaged in Kirkuk and Nineveh, not to mention that Iran has previously cut off three power supply lines. The power outage fueled public outrage. It is worth mentioning that this crisis hasn’t been settled for the last 18 years and billions were lost to no avail
