Tunisia – Alarming spike of several Covid strains in the country

Tunisia has recently been witnessing an alarming spread of many mutated strains of Covid-19, increasing rate of positive tests and deaths, which threatened governorates and pushed people to demand strict practical measures, especially amid the negligence of citizens and lack of compliance most in health protocol. The member of the Tunisian Parliament’s Health Committee, Imad Khamiri, pointed out that the government may turn to the national army to intervene and impose a curfew on the states, in addition to persuading people to take the vaccine.
