Jordan: Kurdistan Region President Arrives in Amman to Discuss Bilateral Relations

Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani arrived in Jordan’s capital Amman on Wednesday to discuss with his Majesty King Abdullah II matters of mutual concern. The two leaders addressed means to boost bilateral ties, the latest regional developments, along with coronavirus’ economic repercussions. It is worth mentioning that Jordan opened a consulate in Irbil in 2011. Moreover, there are substantial trade ties between Amman and Erbil as 110 Jordanian companies in different fields operate in Iraqi Kurdistan
