The director of Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Mongolia, the veterinarian, Enkhtuvshin Shiilegdamba, who graduated from the United States of America, stated that the WCS continues to implement various projects and Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) researches in wildlife such as Mongolian gazelle as well as researches on the ungulates, the Oyu Tolgoi (Turquoise Hill mining) environmental and ecology monitoring, especially in saxual forest, ungulates of Gobi desert, to protest saigas from livestock diseases. It is mentioned that the Wildlife Conservation Society was established in 2005 as a non-governmental representative office in Mongolia to protect the health of livestock and wild animals and promote awareness of environmental conservation using veterinary science.
