Syria: Youths in Ar Raqqah Innovate New Projects to Revive their city
After the region went rack and ruin with ISIS taking over the city and displacing most of its residents, youths in Ar Raqqah are coming up with new innovations to encourage people on going back. Among them is a Omar, a young man in his 20s, who took Al Naeem roundabout a place for his coffee stall where he serves coffee made on a sand brewer. The roundabout is mostly known as ” the hell roundabout, as it was a hotbed for ISIS atrocities and crimes against the city’s citizens. Omar confirmed that the market is mostly slack, but his stall started to become popular as more and more citizens purchase the Turkish sand coffee
