Iraq: Baghdad International Book Fair Reopens after a Year of Suspension

Amid enthusiastic turnout, Baghdad International Book Fair reopened after closing for one year due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. At least 220 publishing houses and local printing facilities participated in the book fair along with 14 Arab and foreign states. Publishing houses contributed by supplying the fair with a rich collection of books in various fields including literature, science, and politics. The aim of the fair is to realize collaboration between Arab publishing houses and foreign ones along with Iraqi writers by holding activities and forums. It is worth mentioning that the book fair will last up until the 20th of this month
