UNESCO declares “Ain Oasis” a world heritage site

UNESCO has declared Ain Oasis in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), a World Heritage Site.
It is the first UAE site to enter UNESCO’s prestigious list of world’s masterpieces of humanity and nature.
Ain Oasis is a historical site in Abu Dhabi that has been preserved unspoiled. It is a popular tourist destination as well as a living reminder for the locals of the little emirate’s rich historical and social background.
