Iraq – Forces and currents start a project against the corrupted system
Twenty-six October and civil movements and currents launched a national project to free Iraq of the quota system and political corruption that governed the country for eighteen years and to develop an equivalent political alternative that aspires to save Iraq at this stage. The former MP and the head of the Iraqi civil movement, Shurooq Al-Abayji, stated that these forces reject the entire political system and insist on replacing it despite great concerns about holding elections amid the presence of uncontrolled arms and the possibility of using political money in fraud and manipulation of voters’ votes
