Palestine: Humanitarian Organizations Launch a Child Support Campaign in Gaza

In a joint press conference with UNICEF Special Representative in the State of Palestine, Lucia Elmi on Wednesday, the Humanitarian Coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian territory, Lynne Hastings has shed light on the fact that one in three children in Gaza is in dire need of psychosocial support in light of the horrible war. The coordinator added that at least one million people are in immediate need of various kinds of support. During which, UNICEF representative illustrated that the organization embarked on a humanitarian appeal for Gaza worth 95 million dollars to support different segments of the society given the rising number of Cancer patients that hit 11 thousand cases
