Tunisia – The Constitutional Court act returns to the President of the Republic
The debate continues over the Constitutional Court act in Tunisia, which is one of the major elements of the democratic transition, which has been delayed for more than six years. The temporary authority of monitoring the constitutionality of projects and acts had decided to return the draft law amendments to the Tunisian President, Kais Saied, without deciding on the extent of the constitutionality of the appeals, after its members were split between pro and against, therefore, the project is again presented to the President of the Republic in the same form that he had rejected the first time.
