Thailand – Recycling companies make villagers in Rayong suffer its pollution

Villagers in Rayong, part of Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor, are having their livelihoods destroyed due to the pollution of the water sources from a nearby chemical recycling factory. Villages who live in the areas surrounding the factories depend on agriculture and hunting, some of them pointed out that their crops began to wither and die with the spread of Toxic chemicals surrounding their farms, and many fishermen have stopped fishing because of its fetid smell caused by pollution.
