Syria – A platform for victims of “ISIS” in northern and eastern Syria

The event of launching a platform for ISIS victims in northern and eastern Syria, took place on Thursday with the attendance of representatives from civil society and human rights organizations, whereas representatives of ISIS victims from northern and eastern Syrian cities participated in the founding meeting and they demonstrated the crimes that ISIS committed against them to the platform’s organizing body to obtain psychological compensation and indemnification to lighten the effects of these crimes against their children and families. Civil and human rights organizations called on the international parties’ intervention to prosecute ISIS elements in the prisons of the Autonomous Administration, as well as to prosecute those involved and located all around the world. Amnesty International stated in a report about the presence of about 5 thousand victims or dead in Raqqa alone, as well as more than 10 thousand wounded as a result of the war against ISIS.
