Iraq – “Drugs”, the package of death, to spread in Mosul
Citizens and jurists urged the central government in Baghdad, to control the country’s borders with Iran and Syria, following the spread of the drugs among young people in Mosul. The Health Directorate in Nineveh Governorate, through its director, Falah Al-Taie, pointed out that drugs are brought into Nineveh Governorate by mean-spirited people or smugglers, adding that the ministry’s inspection teams in the governorate inspect pharmacies and medical clinics. For his part, the Nineveh Police Chief, Major General Laith Al-Hamdani, denied the existence of any drugs in the governorate, outlining what addicts deal with as psychotropic substances and dual-use pills.
