Mongolia – The accumulation of waste in Ulaanbaatar to pollute the Soil

The waste dumped by people in different areas of the mountains in the capital Ulaanbaatar, is one of the main factors that lead to soil and air pollution, especially in ger areas, as soil samples in Ulaanbaatar revealed the presence of bacterial contamination in 88% of soil levels, causing impeded growth of flowers and grass in those areas where there is a lot of garbage, plastic bags, bottles and materials harmful to the environment, moreover that animals and insects feed on that waste. Many citizens in the capital still throw away garbage and harmful waste that contribute to soil pollution and harm human health.
