Silver industry in Aden suffers from extinction.

Handicrafts always expressed civilization and history in areas it’s present and shows the professionalism of its makers. Formulation of silver is known in Yemen but has been declining due to the current situation in the region.

Aden is known for Silver formulation factories and silver shops with unique shapes and designed with gemstones like sapphires and garnets grabbing the eyes of passerby who appreciate handicrafts for men and women.

Silver formulations have been declining lately due to the ongoing crisis in the region building a barrier between the industry and the former glory. The absence of security played a huge role in declining tourism leaving the silver shops vacant.
