Yemen – Eid clothing to distribute to the children of Al-Jahmiliya neighborhood in Taiz
As Eid ul-Fitr is on the door, millions of Yemenis can’t afford to purchase Eid clothing, amid the spread of hunger, poverty, and the insanely high prices left by the seven-year wars. As a contribution to alleviating the misery, the “My Name Islam” Foundation distributed children’s clothing to poor and displaced families in the Al-Jahmiliya neighborhood, Taiz, southwestern Yemen. This humanitarian initiative brought joy and happiness into the hearts of children of the Al-Jahmiliya neighborhood, which is one of the most devastated neighborhoods in the city due to the battles between Al-Houthi militia and government forces that managed to evacuate them out of the neighborhood.
