Iraq – Covid restricts Eid preparations in Erbil to children’s clothing only
Due to the Covid outbreak, Eid preparations in the Iraqi Kurdistan region are only about buying Eid clothes for children to keep them happy with the Eid, as the city’s residents have limited their visits and decreased gathering between relatives to curb the spread of the virus. Eid ul-Fitr is the fourth Islamic occasion since the pandemic kicked off while people have been unable to celebrate it.
