Palestine – Demonstrations near the separation fence in southern Gaza

Palestinian youths held a demonstration in Gaza, near the separation fence, in response to youth groups’ calls, in solidarity with the people of Jerusalem, and to condemn the attacks on Jerusalem and the worshipers, whereas Israeli soldiers fired bullets and tear gas at the youths who managed to hang the Palestinian flag and break the wires of the separation barrier. According to Abu Wadee, one of the demonstrators, the army suppressed them with bullets and tear gas amid their peaceful presence, while another demonstrator pointed out that their gathering is a kind of solidarity with Jerusalem and the people of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
