Iraq-Female Activists- 40 Femicides were Reported in the Last 4 Months

Amid rampant violence against women and raising femicide cases, human rights’ female activists in Kurdistan organized a sit-in nearby Sulaymaniyah Court, demanding the government and the concerned authorities to address the dilemma of growing violence against women and Femicide. The activist Zeno Rasheed illustrated that about 40 femicides were reported in the last four months, adding that on a daily basis or every two days a woman is killed
