Tunisia- Tunisians Complain about the Governmental Decisions in Extend the Curfew in Ramadan
Amid tightened precautionary measures imposed by the Tunisian government in aim to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, cafes and restaurants’ owners voiced their dismay at the government’s decision to extend the curfew hours to start from 7 pm and prohibit gatherings and weekly markets. This came after intensive care units reached full capacity. However, the decision riled up workers, merchants, and restaurants’ owners as 400 thousand workers will be sacked according to the Chamber of Cafe Owners of The Tunisian Union for Industry, Commerce. There are at least 256 cases, 222 thousand recoveries, with a death toll of 9 thousand patients
