Mongolia- Meat prices to increase in the local markets due to its exportation
Citizens suffer the high prices of mutton, which is the main food product for the Mongolians but traders in Emeelt, which is the largest meat market in Mongolia, state that the price of mutton has risen by 20,000 to 30,000 MNT, due to the Chinese factories buying meat directly from the herders to export them abroad, as the Chinese factories in Emeelt city have recently increased dramatically. The herders began to supply their livestock directly to those factories without a mediator due to the high price paid to them, which contributed to a rise in meat prices in the local markets.
