Iraq – At “St Joseph” Church, The Pope holds the first mass in Iraq
Pope Francis has held his first Mass in Baghdad during his visit to Iraq attended by official figures. The Iraqi President, Barham Salih, and Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi have arrived following the Pope’s arrival at St. Joseph Cathedral on Saturday at 6 pm. The mass was attended by Parliament Speaker, Muhammad al-Halbousi, and the Shiite cleric, Ammar al-Hakim, attended the mass, This mass is the last stop of the Pope in the capital Baghdad during his historic visit to Iraq, which will last for 3 days, and conclude on Monday morning.
