Yemen –Training program for women and productive families empowerment to launch in Taiz
Taiz – Yemen 17/02/2021
Supported by the United Nations Population Fund, and in cooperation with Youth Without Borders, the Undersecretary of Taiz Governorate, Aref Jamal, and the Director-General of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, Abdo Ali, have launched the training program for the empowerment of the women and productive families in the center of Taiz. The Director of the Women’s Empowerment Center, Hoda Al-Dhahabli, stated that the project seeks to train 130 trainees in engraving, embroidery, ceramics, sewing, and cooking. Meanwhile, the Director of Productive Families and Community Development, Ahmed Al-Hamir, emphasized that the program will help poor families to earn income for a decent life.
