Yemen –Minister of Health inaugurates blindness fighting projects and medical devices grant

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center have granted advanced medical equipment to Makkah Eye Hospital in Aden, including Falco Laser (oct) devices, fundus imaging device, and Argon laser device, that improves local capabilities as well as delivering medical services to the ophthalmology patients. The Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Buhaibh, emphasized the importance of the equipment granted by the King Salman Relief Center in improving the role of health sector services. This medical assistance is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to fund the health sector in Yemen, which contributed to 263 projects with a total value of nearly $734 million.
