Thailand- Hundreds protest to condemn the military coup of Myanmar

On Sunday, Hundreds of Burmese residents protested in front of the Myanmar (Burma) embassy in Bangkok, to condemn the military coup in Myanmar that took place days ago that overthrew the head of government Aung San Suu Kyi. The protestors chanted against the military rule calling on the army to recognise the election result of electing Suu Kyi. They also demanded the international community to act for democracy and place sanctions on the coup’s leaders who took over the government. Protestors have raised posters of Aung San Suu Kyi as well as flags of their country.
