Yemen – Al-Hamoudi, a child earns second place in the International Arabic Calligraphy Competition
The twelve- year old student, Jalal Abdul-Ghani Al-Hamoudi, has earned first place on the level of Yemen, and second place on the level of the Arab Gulf states in the International Arabic Calligraphy Competition, held by the Education Office of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh. The little calligrapher hopes to have a big status in Arabic calligraphy in the future. Meanwhile, the representative of Taiz Governorate, Arif Jamal, congratulated the student Jalal on this award, which is a great honor for Taiz and its citizens, for their accomplishments at the local and global level in different fields.
