Syria: Tribes and Sheiks Host a US patrol
Al-Malikiyah – Hassakah-Syria 04/02/2021
US patrol containing four Bradley vehicles was launched from the US military base in Rimelan, accompanied by helicopters, heading toward the oil fields in the area near the Syrian Iraqi borders. US soldiers visited tribal Sheiks to discuss security concerns in the area. The patrol then toured the region adjacent to the oil and gas fields in the southern countryside of the city of Al-Malikiyah, three kilometres away from the Iraqi border
