The ancient Sukiban fort in Shibam directorate- Hadhramaut Governorate is undergoing renovations and reparations. The fort reflects a rich history of urban planning and military developments that dates back to the 19th Hijri century. It was designed for defences’ purposes given its strategic location in the western side of Wadi Bin Ali, which is about 7 km from the historic city of Shibam.
