Raqqa – Syria 17/01/2021
The “stored tomato” project relies on planting tomatoes late in the year to harvest them before ripening and store them in certain conditions to be sold after they ripen in the winter. Displaced who shifted from the areas of dispute to Raqqa started this project aiming to secure their living. 80% of citizens in Raqqa depend on agricultural production for their local due to the availability of the basic ingredients for agriculture like wide lands, water, and expert farmers.
