Iraq: Three Expected Views on the Iraqi Reality in 2021

Political views over the upcoming political reality in 2021 in Iraq are divergent, as political researcher Kadhim Hajj believes that Iraq will witness political stability especially after the early parliamentary elections. On the other hand, Muhannad Jawad, a member of the Hammurabi Center for Researchers and Strategic Studies, confirmed that 2021 will be marked by fierce political disputes and rivalry following the parliamentary elections. In terms of the international arena, strategy expert Ali Al-Zubaidi illustrated that the US-Iranian conflict’s repercussions will wreak havoc and destabilize the political and security reality.
