Amid an increase in the economic growth per capita in Iraq, cobblers (shoe-repairmen) are barely working in the new reality. Trade exchange between neighboring countries along with an open market were behind flooding the local markets with various products, making it much easier to buy a new pair of shoes instead of repairing them. Accordingly, the old profession is at the edge of fading away
