ISIS members share the details of their escape from the ISIS-dominated areas towards areas dominated by the Syrian opposition factions in Idlib after the international coalition launched the war to eliminate the organization in northeastern Syria. They describe their journey from Deir Ezzor and Raqqa, the organization’s stronghold, to Idlib crossing many villages and cities through rugged agricultural roads taken by smugglers who took dollars to shift and conceal them from the armed factions’ checkpoints.
