Yemen- The Fierce War Forces Yemeni Families into Resorting to Caves

As the fierce war between the Houthi militias and the governmental forces flared up, the family of Ruwaida Faisal decided to flee the hell-like region in Ḥaḏran and live in a cave in Kharab. Living like an archaic human with her cattle, Ruwaida endured the lack of the most basic necessities of life. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees illustrated that the civil war displaced more than Sana’s residents’ number, about 2.8 million people. The unprecedented number is the highest compared to other countries
