Syria – Olive mills resume after years of suspension because of the war and ISIS

The profession of olive mills to make oil in Manbij has resumed after a suspension due to the crisis and the war against ISIS, which caused great damage to the olive oil production and difficulty for farmers to deliver their crops of olives to the mils. There are 16 olive oil mils in Manbij that cover the need of the area from olive oil. The crops of olives were left for a long time and not harvested due to the security conditions, or lift in stores due to the lack of mils, which led to crop lack of suitability to oil production.
