Thailand – Covid affects the tourism sector negatively

Covid has affected negatively the tourism sector in Thailand causing great losses to shop owners, tourist businesses, and workers as well as canceling many activities. The main beach of Hua Hin, in Prachuap Khiri Khan district, 200 km southwest of Bangkok, became empty. The pandemic also left its impact on Wat Khao Takiap, a famous temple for the presence of monkeys and a destination for tourists from all over the world
