Syria- the Swedish Delegation Reiterates its Supports to the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria

During a visit to the regions of northern and eastern Syria, Abdul Karim Omar, the-co-chair of the Department of Foreign relations for the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria pointed out in a press conference that the Swedish delegation’s visit aims at addressing several issues, the top of which is a plan for supporting the autonomous administration and involving it in international conferences to hammer out a democratic peaceful settlement. The international resolution to seal Tel Koçer crossing border was also addressed, which will block the entry of humanitarian aid that is usually delivered to 17 refugee camps. Mr. Pierre Aurinus, who is in charge of the Syrian file in the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs indicated that the purpose of the visit is to keep track of the aid the Swedish government sends, to improve its quality as well as to ramp it up
