Syria – Repairing Maize Dryer Destroyed by ISIS in Raqqa.

 Maize cultivation is one of the important crops that are cultivated in Raqqah and the countryside of northern Syria. It was grown in large areas before the crisis and the control of ISIS over the region, due to the availability of sufficient water and fertile soil suitable for its cultivation. The Economic Committee started to repair maize dryers to alleviate the suffering of farmers in the manual drying process.
