Yemen- Southern Transitional Council Suspends Its Participation in Deliberations Over “Riyadh agreement”

In a letter sent by the Yemen’s Southern Transitional Council to Saudi Arabia, it declared suspending their participation in negotiations over “Riyadh agreement”. The STC clarified the reasons behind this suspension; the military escalation by forces affiliated to Yemen’s government in addition to targeting civilians, and their failure to provide humanitarian or medical assistance to martyrs’ families, not to mention the poor services and the deteriorating economic circumstances in the south.
